Insurance and Payment Information

Insurance coverage for mental health, sleep, and neuropsychological services depends on the clinician, service, diagnosis, location, plan benefits, authorization requirements, and other payer rules. Helyx Health will explain known participation and fees before scheduling, but coverage cannot be guaranteed.

In-network Plans

Helyx Health currently reports participation with:

  • Aetna
  • Cigna and Evernorth Behavioral Health
  • Velocity National Provider Network, or VNPN
Aetna Cigna Evernorth Behavioral Health Velocity National Provider Network

Participation can vary by individual clinician, service, plan product, employer arrangement, credentialing status, and effective date. Please confirm participation for your specific plan.

Confirming Clinician Participation

A practice may participate with an insurer while a particular clinician or service is not in network for the patient’s exact plan. Before scheduling, Helyx Health will confirm the selected clinician’s known participation status, and patients should verify the information with their insurer.

Ask the insurer whether the clinician is in network under Helyx Health’s tax identification information, whether the service requires authorization, and what deductible, copayment, or coinsurance applies.

Understanding Your Benefits

A benefits quote is not a guarantee of payment. Claims remain subject to eligibility, medical necessity, coding, authorization, timely filing, coordination of benefits, and the terms of the plan when processed.

Deductibles and out-of-pocket limits often reset with a new plan year. Patient responsibility may therefore change even when the clinician remains in network.

Out-of-network Care

Some Helyx Health clinicians or services may be available on a self-pay or out-of-network basis. When applicable, patients pay according to the practice’s policy. For eligible PPO plans, Helyx Health may submit an out-of-network claim as a courtesy; any reimbursement is issued according to the insurer’s process and does not reduce the patient’s responsibility to Helyx Health unless the practice states otherwise.

Out-of-network reimbursement is not guaranteed. Patients should ask their plan about the out-of-network deductible, allowed amount, coinsurance, exclusions, claim submission, and reimbursement destination.

Your Financial Responsibility

Patients are responsible for charges not paid by insurance, including deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, noncovered services, denied claims when responsibility is assigned to the patient, and applicable fees under signed policies.

Helyx Health will provide available fee and policy information before the service. An estimate is not a guarantee of the final insurer determination.

Reporting Insurance Changes

Notify Helyx Health before your next appointment if your insurer, member ID, group number, subscriber, coordination of benefits, or primary coverage changes. Delayed notification may affect claim filing and patient responsibility.
