Dr. Tony Masri, MD — Neurologist & Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Specialist
Dr. Britney Blair, Psy.D., DBSM, CST — Licensed Clinical Psychologist & Board‑Certified Specialist
Helyx Health was founded by sleep specialist Dr. Tony Masri and clinical psychologist Dr. Britney Blair with a shared vision: to create a place where sleep medicine and mental health care are thoughtfully integrated. After years of caring for patients in larger healthcare systems and specialty clinics, they saw how often people struggling with insomnia, anxiety, depression, burnout, or relationship stress were receiving fragmented care. Sleep problems were treated separately from emotional health, even though the two are closely connected.
When Dr. Masri launched Helyx Health, he wanted to build a permanent home for his patients, one where care would be consistent, collaborative, and deeply personalized. Together with Dr. Blair, the goal was to assemble a multidisciplinary team of experts who could support patients across multiple dimensions of well-being, including sleep health, emotional health, cognitive functioning, and relationships.
Today, Helyx Health has grown into a collaborative team of psychologists, psychiatrists, sleep specialists, and neuropsychologists working together to provide comprehensive care for patients throughout California.
Our mission is to help people reclaim their health, energy, and quality of life. Many people come to Helyx Health feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their sleep, from their relationships, or from themselves. We believe meaningful healing happens when people feel understood and supported in addressing the root causes of their challenges. Our goal is to provide the knowledge, tools, and compassionate care that help patients restore balance, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and well-being.
At Helyx Health, we believe that well-being is never just about one symptom or diagnosis. Sleep, emotional health, relationships, and physical well-being are all interconnected. Our clinicians take the time to understand the full context of a patient’s life so treatment can be tailored to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Care is grounded in evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, behavioral sleep medicine, trauma-informed care, and neuropsychological assessment when needed. At the heart of our philosophy is the belief that therapy should be deeply personalized. Every patient’s story is unique, and treatment should reflect that.
One of the defining features of Helyx Health is the integration of sleep medicine with behavioral and mental health care. Sleep disorders such as insomnia, sleep apnea, and circadian rhythm disruptions often exist alongside anxiety, depression, trauma, or attention difficulties. Rather than treating these conditions in isolation, our clinicians work collaboratively across specialties to develop coordinated treatment plans.
In addition to psychotherapy and psychiatric care, Helyx Health offers specialized services such as home sleep studies, behavioral sleep medicine, neuropsychological assessment, and relationship and sexual health therapy. This combination allows patients to receive comprehensive care in one place, with experts who communicate closely to support their progress.
We approach care as a partnership. From the first appointment, clinicians focus on understanding what matters most to the patient, their goals, concerns, and the challenges they are facing. Treatment plans are developed collaboratively so patients feel actively involved in their care.
For some individuals, therapy may focus on managing anxiety, depression, burnout, or trauma. Others may benefit from sleep evaluations, medication support, or neuropsychological testing to better understand attention, memory, or cognitive changes. Whatever the path forward looks like, our goal is to provide care that feels thoughtful, personalized, and supportive.
Every day at Helyx Health brings a wide range of meaningful work. Our clinicians may spend the morning helping someone overcome chronic insomnia, followed by supporting a patient navigating anxiety or life transitions. In another session, a neuropsychologist may be conducting cognitive testing to better understand attention or memory concerns. Our clinicians also work with individuals and couples to strengthen relationships, address sexual health concerns, and build deeper emotional connections.
Behind the scenes, our care coordination and administrative teams play an essential role in helping patients schedule appointments, navigate questions, and connect with the right clinician. Together, the entire team works to ensure that patients feel supported from their very first interaction with the practice.
We want every patient to know that they do not have to navigate these challenges alone. Many people come to Helyx Health after struggling for years with sleep problems, anxiety, depression, burnout, or relationship stress. Seeking help can feel vulnerable, but it is also one of the most powerful steps someone can take toward feeling better. Our clinicians are deeply committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel understood, respected, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.
One of the things we are most proud of is the collaborative community we have built. Helyx Health brings together clinicians with expertise in sleep medicine, psychotherapy, psychiatry, neuropsychology, and relationship health who share a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. Watching the practice grow while maintaining that culture of collaboration and patient-centered care has been incredibly meaningful.
The most rewarding moments come from seeing patients regain restful sleep, reduce anxiety, strengthen relationships, and rediscover a sense of stability and fulfillment in their lives.
Collaborative. Compassionate. Innovative.
Trust begins with listening. Many of the topics discussed in therapy, such as mental health challenges, sleep problems, relationship concerns, or sexual health, can feel deeply personal. Our clinicians approach these conversations with empathy, curiosity, and respect. Patients are encouraged to speak openly about their experiences, ask questions, and participate actively in shaping their treatment. By creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment, we are able to build the trust that allows meaningful progress to happen.
For many clinicians at Helyx Health, the path began with a deep curiosity about how the mind and brain shape human experience. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a passion for helping people overcome challenges that affect their daily lives. The ability to combine scientific knowledge with empathy and meaningful human connection makes this work incredibly fulfilling. What continues to motivate our clinicians each day is seeing the transformation that happens when patients begin to feel better—when sleep improves, anxiety lessens, relationships strengthen, and people begin to feel hopeful again.
