Are you looking for a therapy space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported?
Finding the right therapist can be overwhelming, especially when you are navigating trauma, complex relationship dynamics, debilitating anxiety or depression, or a major life transition. You might be looking for someone who doesn't just nod and listen, but who actively collaborates with you to create meaningful change. I work with adults, adolescents, relationships of all configurations, and groups to help them process their past, navigate their present, and build lives rooted in their deepest values.
Dr. Luke Janes
Post Doctoral Fellow
Dr. Janes’s clinical approach is rooted in authentic, strength-based, and culturally responsive collaboration. Recognizing that no single therapy fits every individual, he draws from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based frameworks to tailor treatment to each client. This includes cognitive and behavioral interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT, and exposure therapy), mindfulness, systems and depth-oriented work like Internal Family Systems (IFS), and relationship-focused frameworks including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. For group settings, he utilizes Yalom-inspired process models and psychoeducation formats.
He has extensive experience supporting clients navigating trauma and a wide variety of other challenges, always prioritizing value-centered care and the therapeutic alliance. Dr. Janes enjoys working with adults and adolescents individually, in relationships—including diverse relationship structures, sexualities, and genders—and in group settings, offering services locally in the San Francisco Bay Area and via telehealth throughout California.
Note/Nota: Dr. Janes is conversationally fluent in Spanish and welcomes clients who prefer a bilingual space.
