Dr. Christa Pereira (“Pear-air-a”) is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology, learning disorders, executive functioning, and ADHD.

Dr. Pereira provides services across the lifespan, beginning with children aged seven and continuing through adolescence, adulthood, and older adulthood.

Dr. Pereira offers assessments for a range of concerns, including dyslexia, math learning difficulties (dyscalculia), writing difficulties (dysgraphia), ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other issues related to attention and learning. She also provides therapy for teenagers and adults with ADHD or problematic video game use. Her approach to assessment and therapy is collaborative and strength-based.

Dr. Pereira served as faculty in the Department of Neurology at UCSF for 10 years before transitioning to private practice.

She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center and the UCSF Dyslexia Center, and her predoctoral internship at the VA Loma Linda. She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium and her bachelor’s degree in psychology and molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of Colorado.
