As we approach the new year, we wanted to share a few important reminders related to insurance coverage and what to expect as plans renew.
Is your insurance changing in the new year?
If you anticipate any changes to your insurance plan, please let us know as soon as possible by call/text us at (415) 275-0092.
Please note that if your insurance changes and our office is not notified, you may be responsible for the full cost of the service.
In-network insurance plans
At this time, Helyx is in-network only with Cigna and Aetna. If your coverage changes to a plan we are not contracted with, services may no longer be covered by insurance.
It’s important to keep in mind that deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums typically reset at the start of the year. Because of this, we may need to re-verify benefits once your plan is active, and your financial responsibility for sessions may change. If you have questions about what your benefits will look like in the new year, we recommend that you contact your insurance directly.
