Dr. Stephanie Claudatos

Psychologist & Sleep Specialist

Stephanie Claudatos, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating sleep disorders, such as insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, nightmares, and skills to improve CPAP adherence. She is dedicated to delivering culturally responsive and evidence-based interventions tailored to each person’s unique needs.

Dr. Claudatos leverages scientific knowledge to help inform her approach to treatment. Her research interests include the relationship between sleep and co-occurring psychiatric conditions, exploring how sleep may serve as a protective factor to foster positive health and mental health outcomes.

Dr. Claudatos completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in the Sleep Health and Insomnia (SHIP) program (2023). This training was focused on the implementation of behavioral and non-pharmacological treatments for a wide spectrum of sleep disorders. She completed her clinical psychology internship at the VA Northern California Health Care System (2022) which included comprehensive training in evidence-based practices for addressing mood disorders, substance use, PTSD, and various other psychiatric conditions among Veterans and Active Duty Members. Dr. Claudatos completed her doctoral training at Palo Alto University (2022).
